Who is responsible
Tag Ad Limited operates SourdoughStart. Content is attributed to the publication, not to a fictitious individual or an unverified baking credential. Questions and corrections can be sent to admin@sourdoughstart.com.
What a source means
A source link identifies material used for a specific explanation or a place to read the full method. It does not imply endorsement of this site. Prefer primary baking guidance, documented tests, and official food-safety information. Separate source findings from this site’s own organizational aids and arithmetic examples.
Review and testing are different
Checking a statement against a published reference does not make it a kitchen-tested recipe. A tested claim needs a record of ingredients, conditions, procedure, result, and who performed it. The new guides currently make no such in-house testing claims. Their dates describe editorial revision, not an expert certification.
AI assistance and illustrations
AI assistance is used to organize explanations and illustrations, with sources and assumptions stated on the page. Generated imagery is labeled and used to establish subject or mood, never as evidence of a successful bake. A generated loaf image is not a promised recipe outcome. Diagrams must also have a text equivalent.
Corrections
Include the page URL, the statement in question, and a reliable reference when reporting a potential error. Substantive corrections should be recorded on the affected page. No fixed response time is promised.
Older content
Legacy pages remain available for continuity, with a review-status notice. Their presence does not establish that every claim, recipe, attribution, or image has been verified. They are not presented as newly tested or silently assigned a fresh publication date.
